Just wanted to remind everyone about the free Christmas Tree coloring pages I have on my site! I also have several other designs to choose from. Long car trip ahead? Need something to occupy little ones while visiting family? These might be just the thing.
Click on the picture below for the printer size version.

If you or your little one color one of my coloring pages and would like to share what you made, please e-mail me at ecarian at yahoo dot com and show me it! Let me know if I can use it as an example on my site, and if you post it up on your blog send me the link so I can link to it. :-)
Thanks to the following blogs for letting me link up...
Ah Noelle, you didn't leave an e-mail, and there's no e-mail on your blogger profile, and you don't have a blog I can post on, and God has not chosen to send me a vision of your address and card choice.
If you want your choice of card from my shop, e-mail me letting me know which greeting card or three postcards you want, and your address, before 11:00 pm December 7. If you miss that deadline but still find this some time in the next month and contact me I'll send you one of the cards I have at home, but the Zazzle cards I need to order by December 8. My e-mail is ecarian at yahoo dot com.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday, where I ask a simple question for you to answer in the comments (if you want to).
My son recently blew me away when he showed me some artwork he had done. They were Scribbleprints, like mine, only with his own flair! I was really touched...and impressed. Not that what I do is that hard...but for a 7 year old, they were really good, and I thought it was sweet that he wanted to do something like me.
He was imitating my cross in the magnet holding it...
here it is larger:
He said he was trying to get it like mine...but I actually like
the way it's different then the one I drew. How his is more symmetrical, but not completely.
And I loved his other scribbleprints which were less imitations and let his originality shine through.
So, here's today's questions:
What's the sweetest way your child has imitated you?
Please leave your answer in a comment below. And, if you have a blog and would like to post your own question you can leave your link at An Island Life.
Oh, and I have to mention...this question was in some part inspired by a similar question at TechyDad about ways our children resemble us. Always love his Aloha Friday posts...they're often very insightful, and nearly always make me think (which is a good thing...I need to keep my brain awake).
There are some things your kids will do that will just melt your heart.
This is one of them.
Remind you of anything? My seven year old is making Scribbleprints!
No prompting...he decided to do this all on his own.
We thought the one above looked like a clover, and we got
to talk about discovering pictures in the scribbles. :-)
This one he patterned after my Cross design (which is on a magnet up
in the corner). I think his cross is beautiful! If you look in the pattern you can
make out his original scribble and see how he filled in areas on the side, and I
like the types of patterns this made. This one might have to go straight from the fridge to a frame.
This picture is 100% his own creation. I think his snail is precious and love
how he made Scribbleprint letters with it too!
I guess you could say this proves even a child can do Scribbleprints...but, I already knew that. There are things you do you want your child imitating and things you don't. My son imitating my art makes my heart smile. I know as he continues to draw and paint and craft he'll come up with his own style and niche that is just his, and I look forward to seeing that develop. But for now I feel proud to know he likes the art I do enough to try it for himself.
CafePress is having a 50% Off sale on select 1.0 oz stainless steel water bottles, and my Heart Scribble Water Bottle was one of them!!! I'm so excited! It's right there on the first page...in the "Peace and Love" section! How cool is that! And, you can take another 20% off with coupon code GESUND through Jan 6, 2011! That makes this bottle only $6.75! (Coupon good on my other bottles too!)
I also have a sale going on in my shop today! $10 Off Orders of $50 or More with coupon code CYBER10 - this code is only good today in my shops, not the marketplace (unlike the above sales). Also, remember that are some items marked down in the marketplace OTHER than the ones listed here that are still less in my shop. Learn why here.
TIP: Customize any ornament by adding text or a photo to the back or front. Two sided designs cost a few dollars more, so this may increase your price. You can also REDUCE your price by using the customization tool to remove a design from the back of an ornament if you would like it with a white back (which you can them use a sharpie marker on to write a personal message).
Every year around Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Zazzle (and subsequently, Scribbleprints at Zazzle) has a HUGE sale! And this year is no different! But the way the sale works this year IS a little different. They will be offing a different deal every two hours! And these are really good deals - as much as 75% Off!
The sales goes on until Tuesday--and the coupons change every two hours!
I held a little giveaway to help promote the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale this weekend. It was for a Scribbleprints Sample pack with cards, bookmarks, and stickers. It's over but you I often hold small giveaways on my site, so check back now and then and see what I have going.
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. Every Friday (well, ok, almost every Friday) I ask a simple question for you to answer--nothing that requires a lengthy response. I'm combining this with Two Question Thursday (same idea...only TWO questions). If you'ld like to, comment with an answer to one or both of the questions below:
Do you go out shopping on black friday? Or stay home?
If you do plant to go out shopping, is there a certain item that's the main reason you're going? And if so, how did you find out about it?
Use coupon $8.80 off Scribbleprints custom postage with coupon code THANKPOSTAGE through November 25. You can use one of my designs or replace any design with your own photo (using the customization tool).
I hadn't shown off my kids art here in quite a while....so long in fact that one or two pieces just won't do. They just brought home a bunch of really neat fall art from school, so I had to share the whole fridge-full!
Love all those pumpkins and leaves and bright colors!
Here's a close up of the scarecrow my 7 year old did.
And heres some fun farm animals! My seven year old made the chicken, and was really proud of the shading he did (and with good reason, I think!). The pig is by my 6 year old. Notice the popsicle sticks for the fence! He's always loved using three dimensional stuff. For the longest time he had no interest in drawing, but if you brought out dried spaghetti or yarn he loved to make pictures with those. Since Kindergarten he's started to enjoy drawing more, but those popsicle sticks make me smile because that's just so HIM.
That's actually only HALF the art on my fridge. I'll share the rest soon!
CafePress and Zazzle both came out with iphone cases this week! Lucky me because I get to offer them with my designs you you!

The cases at CafePress are hard plastic available in two styles for iPhone 4 and one for iPhone 3G. They usually cost $22.99 at my shops but right now you can get them for $19.99 in the CafePress Marketplace (not sure how long the sale will go for...it was supposed to end last night but just checked and the cases are still marked down): click here for my artistic designs, or here for my humorous slider cases.
Oh, and CafePress is giving away some free IPhone cases to 100 random winners who email email@example.com November 18. οnlу one email per email address – duplicates will bе deleted. Include уour mailing address. Cafepress will not spam уου аftеr this. Click here for more giveaways.
At My Zazzle Shop
The cases at my Zazzle Shop cost considerably more than my CafePress Cases, but can be customized. They are plastic with a fabric cover. Zazzle has cases for iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, and iPad cases. Use coupon code NEWZAZZCASES for free standard shipping on these until November 30, 2010 (US only).
I'm still adding cases to both shops, but wanted to get this announced before the sale at CafePress was over. If there's any design you want but can't find, e-mail me and I'll try to get it done before the sale ends.
